Marion County Public Safety Building

Completed 2018 | Law Enforcement | 33,000 SF

SALEM, OR, USA  The new Marion County Sheriff’s Central District Office and Public Safety Building includes Patrol, Enforcement Team, Parole and Probation Offices. Parole and probation services are located in the front of the building. The left side houses intake and victim assistance, while the right half deals more with offenders. The rear of the facility houses the enforcement division, which has a electronic forensics lab and an armory. A cafeteria creates a central gathering area for the two divisions.  

KMD served as the Planner and Designer as consultant to Carlson Veit Architects.
